The Indian government condemned the November 10 car explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort as a “heinous terrorist incident.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired an emergency Cabinet meeting pledging justice for the perpetrators, their collaborators, and sponsors. This swift response underscored the government’s steadfast commitment to national security and public safety.

During the Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, ministers expressed profound grief over the horrific loss of lives caused by the blast, which occurred in a bustling area known for its historical significance. The Cabinet observed two minutes of silence in homage to the victims.
