RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav declared on Tuesday that the INDIA bloc’s poll manifesto will act as a vision document designed to elevate Bihar to the number one spot among Indian states. This statement came just before the anticipated unveiling of the manifesto.

Yadav shared with reporters that the group possesses a clear vision and strategy for Bihar’s development. He described the manifesto as the ‘Tejashwi Pran Patra’ (Tejashwi’s Resolution Document), which outlines their futuristic approach to governance.

The highly awaited opposition coalition’s manifesto is set to be revealed later today, a move that Yadav asserts will encapsulate their commitments and promises to the voters of Bihar.

In a direct attack on the ruling NDA, Yadav pointed out its negligence in announcing its chief ministerial candidate or rolling out a comprehensive manifesto for the upcoming elections. “We have been forthright with our chief ministerial face. Yet, the NDA has failed to declare their candidate or present any manifesto. They continue to merely mimic our promises,” he insisted.

The RJD leader further criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming that their leadership has yielded little in terms of substantial progress for Bihar. “Every time the PM visits Bihar, he resorts to personal attacks on opposition leaders instead of addressing the state’s pressing issues,” Yadav emphasized.

With the 243-member Bihar Assembly gearing up for elections, voters will cast their ballots in two phases, scheduled for November 6 and November 11. The counting of votes will take place on November 14, with results eagerly anticipated as they will shape the future political landscape of Bihar.

The contrasting approaches of the INDIA bloc and the NDA foreshadow a fiercely competitive election. As the unveiling of the manifesto draws near, political analysts watch closely how these pledges will resonate with voters seeking change and progress.
